Parsvakonasana (side angle pose) is one of those poses I have been playing with for some time in my home practice. The hips have opened up down wards, so I can get my hands on the floor, but not opening up to the side.
This problem has been the same until yesterday, I was practicing my usual routine and something released, my chest opened, my top shoulder rotated. I felt a lengthening along my spine, at the same time I felt something move up my spine, I could feel the whole length the side of my body alive.
It was a fantastic experience and I hope I can repeat it and move this on to the other poses.
